Jengabiz Incubator

Jengabiz Incubator · 90-Day SME Performance Partnership

Fix the constraint holding your business back.

A focused 90-day advisory engagement for owner-led Kenyan SMEs. We identify where profit, cash, sales or delivery is under strain, install one practical management system, and help your team use it to make better decisions.

One business priorityHands-on implementationLimited client capacity

Why this exists

More activity is not always more progress.

When sales grow but cash stays tight, or the founder still carries every decision, the business needs a clearer view of what is happening and a repeatable way to respond.

01 / DIAGNOSE

Find the real constraint

Look at the relevant numbers, workflows and decisions before choosing a solution.

02 / INSTALL

Build for daily use

Put one simple system in the hands of the people who will keep it running.

03 / REVIEW

Make action visible

Use a regular owner review to spot issues, assign action and adjust the system.

The process

What happens over 90 days?

The exact schedule follows the business problem and access to information. The engagement stays anchored to one agreed priority and a system your team can sustain.

Weeks 1–2
Baseline

Understand the business

Review the relevant figures and operating practices, speak with the owner and key team members, and agree on the priority and measures to follow.

Weeks 3–5
Design

Choose and set up the system

Define responsibilities, the information needed and a simple routine for recording, reviewing and acting on it.

Weeks 6–10
Use

Put it to work

Run scheduled owner reviews, work through obstacles with the team and adjust the tool or process based on real use.

Weeks 11–13
Handover

Keep the rhythm going

Document the working system, agree who owns it and set the next quarter’s priorities.

Implementation is shared work.

Jengabiz helps diagnose, design and review. The owner and team provide the information, make decisions and use the agreed system between reviews.

Examples of the work

The right system depends on the constraint.

These are examples, not a package of four systems. We choose one priority after the baseline review.

01

Cash forecast

See expected inflows, outflows and likely cash gaps before they arrive.

02

Margin tracker

Understand which jobs, products or customers contribute to profit.

03

Sales pipeline

Track opportunities, follow-up ownership and conversion decisions.

04

Delivery scorecard

Make handoffs, service consistency and operational issues easier to see.

What you leave with

A system your business can keep using.

The goal is a practical management rhythm, with decisions and responsibilities visible beyond the engagement.

  • A baseline for the selected business priority.
  • One working dashboard, tracker or operating process.
  • Named responsibilities and a clear review cadence.
  • Scheduled owner reviews during implementation.
  • A handover and priorities for the next quarter.

Who it is for

A good fit starts with readiness to act.

Jengabiz works with a small number of established businesses at a time, so each engagement needs a clear owner and an implementable priority.

This partnership fits when…

  • Your business has paying customers and active operations.
  • You can share the relevant business information for a baseline.
  • You have decision authority and people who can implement changes.
  • A profit, cash, sales or delivery issue is worth focused attention.

It may be too early when…

You are still testing a business idea, mainly seeking a loan or grant, or cannot make time for owner reviews and team follow-through. The free Business Health Assessment can help you start identifying areas to investigate.

Common questions

Before we talk.

What does the 90-day partnership cost?

The fee is set after we understand the business priority and agree on the scope. You will see a clear proposal before deciding whether to proceed.

Do you work with businesses in any sector?

We consider established owner-led SMEs where the selected problem is within our expertise and the team can implement the work. We confirm fit in the first conversation.

Can you work remotely?

Some reviews and working sessions can take place remotely. The mix of remote and in-person work is agreed in the proposal based on the business and location.

Is this a funding programme or a guarantee of profit growth?

No. The engagement focuses on a management system and decisions around one business constraint. Outcomes depend on the starting position, available information and follow-through by the business.

Must I take the Business Health Assessment first?

No. You can apply directly. The free assessment is available if you want a starting point for reflection.
